Express Fitness Urban (EFU) Delivery and Installation Policy
Delivery:
All delivery costs of new equipment sold is included in the costs of the goods and delivered by either our local technical team or we may utilize a courier company for the deliveries.
For parts or sale items, the delivery cost is excluded, and we will quote separately on these costs. The costs will be estimates based on quotations received from the courier companies that we use; however, we reserve the right to amend the charges based on any additional and / or unforeseen costs that the courier company may have.
Our service team will keep you updated on the expected delivery date and time.
Delivery excludes installation and items are generally boxed, however, in certain cases a fully assembled or partially assembled unit may be dispatched, and you will be notified of this if applicable.
Damages to the product, if applicable, needs to be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the goods to avoid a claim being rejected for damaged goods.
Use of your own courier
You may arrange for your own courier collect and deliver your order. Please ensure that your order is ready for collection before sending your courier to collect the goods. EFU will not be liable for any costs incurred if the goods are not ready for collection as advised to you. Once the goods are collected by a private courier, EFU are no longer liable for the goods or the insurance thereof.
Delivery Note
It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery note ties up to the items delivered. Please check and ensure that this is correct as per the delivery note.
Installations
Installations are included in Gauteng, for all other regions you will be quoted on installation which will include travel costs unless specifically recorded and noted differently.
Where EFU do not agree on an installation, the customer will be responsible for the assembly and installation. Our technical team is available for a video call to assist if required.
Call out Fee
- Call Out Fee (Within 50km Radius): R750.00
- Labour Hourly Rate: R450.00
- Travel cost (Starting point – Riversands): R6 per km
Warranty
For the warranty of each product, the warranty includes labour and parts but specifically excludes travel time and costs. This needs to be quoted for separately.
Warranty Voiding: A warranty claim is subject to “Fit for Purpose” usage. Products noted as Home Use will have their warranty nullified and deemed non applicable if used in a commercial or semi commercial facility.

If an installation is not agreed upon, the customer is responsible for assembly, and EFU's technical team can provide assistance via a video call if needed.
